Come on the guy should have known better religion isn't free of arbitrary rules, he should have known there was going to be back lash from the Mormon church. Them withholding his degree is wrong though I mean if they feel they want to kick him out of the church that's one thing but to deny him his degree ( yes I know it's technically associated with the church) is not right and they should know that being "vengeful" isn't the way.

This gave me flashbacks to the super hot Mormon missionaries the lived next door to me in college. My roommate and I were OBSESSED with them. They hung out with these 2 girls who were always over, sitting on lawn chairs outside the front door... I don't think we had a shot with them though because they'd come home and see us smoking our ultra lights on the front steps of the building, but man I would have liked to corrupt them.

Well Jude...you don't need 'em anyway. To tell ya the truth, none of them are my type either but the last guy is kinda cute to me.

BYU like many uber religious schools makes you sign code of conduct type rules when you start. Everything is laid out as well as the punishment. I think it is stupid, but their right as a private institution. And the Mormon church is very different than others. I grew up with two of my best friends being Mormon and would visit their church every now and then. It was very different. One of them was disowned by her family when she married outside the church. She did it at 18 and I swear it was just to leave the house. The marriage lasted a little over a year. It really is sad.
