Whether it be with stickers, rhinestones, cases or sleeves, pimping your laptop is definitely one of the hottest geek chic trends. I prefer my basic white Apple, but if I do decide to kick it up a notch, I'll probably get a SKYN. SKYN's are not only stylish, but reusable and will keep your laptop surface nice and protected. They come in a variety of sizes to fit various laptop models and range in price from $35-$40. Maybe a bit expensive, but then again, you are giving your laptop a full makeover! Here are a few from the Eva Collection:

Everyone should do something to their Apples to truly own them! I pimped my MacBook Pro with a similar type of reusable sticker from http://www.shuffle-art.com - I loved the PLAY design so much that I bought one for my iPod video too! Love the old school arcade icons on those prints!

I pimped my Macbook Pro, iPhone and iPod with skins from www.gelaskins.com - I went with Blowfish for my puter, Ink Pond for my phone, and Kobe for my ipod. I get comments everywhere I go.

My boyfriend surprised me with the pink Eva skyn about a year and a half ago after a big project. I love how protected and pretty it keeps my laptop!

I took my laptop apart and painted it a while ago. It was really, really hard to get the paint to stick! Also, the lid alone used no fewer than 5 types of screws. ARGH!

It does make it a lot cooler looking though. And theoretically, maybe, possibly, reduces the chances of it being stolen. I totally voided my warranty though. Sticking out tongue

I wanted to give it a Global Frequency logo but gave up. Maybe I'll try that on something smaller like a cell phone.
