Over the weekend Scarlett Johansson
announced her engagement to Ryan Reynolds and then
showed off her engagement ring at the Met Costume Gala on Monday. Now it seems the actress will not be short on wedding dress offers as Stella McCartney told
People magazine, "I'm definitely doing her wedding dress. She doesn't know it yet."
However, Stella who also designed Madonna's wedding dress might have some competition on her hands as Dolce & Gabbana obviously already know and
Marc Jacobs has offered his congratulations. "I'm really happy for her.
Agent Provocateur's new bridal ads featuring Kate Moss are nothing short of sheer horror. The picturesque fantasy and horror-themed photoshoot depicts Moss in a surreal world of bleeding heads, skulls, and crossbones. I get the whole anti-bride theme, but isn't romance what she's
supposed to be selling.
Last week Coleen McLoughlin had an
eleven-hour fitting with Marchesa for her wedding dress. Coleen, who is due to get married to footballer Wayne Rooney this summer, has obviously inspired Marchesa as today it was announced that they would be launching a bridal collection. Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman has a fair amount of experience with bridal gowns as she designed her own dress for
her wedding to Miramax mogul Harvey Weinstein last December.
Marchesa are set to launch a capsule wedding collection next month, with designs for Coleen's dress being kept closely under wraps.
