2008 Pride Of Britain awards took place last night, with a whole host of celebrities showing up to hear the amazing and touching stories of the nominees and winners. We'll be able to share in the awe-inspiring tales of these Brits when the show airs on television tonight, at 8pm on ITV1. Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton giggled under their Union Jack-emblazoned umbrella as they arrived to present an award, and Cat Deeley and Rachel Stevens were among the other guests using the brollies on the red carpet.
Kelly Brook and Harry Enfield have been turned in to 1980s style "Tefal boffins" for
the latest advert from the company, which features the pair interviewing Carol Vorderman for a job. It
took five and a half hours to fit Harry and Kelly's giant foreheads for the ads, which will screen next year. The ad made me smile: what do you think of it?

The
GQ Men Of The Year awards ceremony took place in London last night, hosted by Lily Allen in front of a room full of famous faces. Lily wore a big attention-grabbing dress as hostess (which apparently
proved slightly difficult to walk in), and spilled
a terrifying story about her friend who was kidnapped and locked in a car boot for seven days. She
said: "I just want to thank the Met Police.
