Last night, the
Simpson sister's were out in LA, and new mom Ashlee was sporting red locks once more.
Seeing that she went from red to
blonde just before Christmas, and now back to red once more, I'm just guessing that the crimson shade is her color of preference — and that she has an amazing stylist capable of creating such transformations without damaging her frequently processed locks.
What say you on Simpson's endless sea of change?

Longtime readers know how much I love Angela Bassett, especially because she can wear
ladylike styles with the best of 'em. At the Critics' Choice Awards, she proves that you don't need to be 21 years old to pull off a bold eye shadow color. This lilac shade stands out but isn't garish, pulling attention to her eyes while remaining elegant.

Last year, Katy Perry shot out of nowhere to become one of the biggest pop stars of the year — partly because of her quirky retro style. For the Critics' Choice Awards, she took it way back to the '50s, wearing fat curls in her hair and plush fake lashes on her lids. It's a little Dita Von Teese, but somehow, Katy makes it her own.

It's always great to see British beauty Kate Beckinsale with a big smile on her face. As a nominee for her lead in the movie Nothing but the Truth, perhaps she's showing her pearly whites in anticipation of a possible win.
The actress keeps her blush and sparkly lip gloss on the soft pink side, and accentuates her light eyes with some heavy black liner.

Eva Longoria Parker provides a burst of warmth during the wintry awards season. Her cheeks have a sun-kissed glow, and the shimmery shell shade of her eye shadow is similarly summery. Looks like she's ditched the false lashes and
complicated curls of her recent looks, opting instead for a simple, beach-glam look.

Amy Adams walked the red carpet with beautifully shiny hair. (I wonder what serum she uses for that smooth look . .

Must be nice to be Angelina Jolie, especially when your
Changeling performance is earning so many award nominations. (Having Brad Pitt on your arm must not be bad, either.) Another perk of being Miss Jolie: You don't have to switch up your makeup choices very often. Angelina doesn't stray from her signature look — black eyeliner, false lashes, pale lips — very often, and tonight is no exception.

A Chanel dress is eternally chic.
Chanel's logo as a lip gloss is pretty cool, too. But nothing spells "classy" like having the iconic interlocking-C logo painted on your nails.

Anne Hathaway has definitely developed a sophisticated style — particularly in the past year, no? So it's becoming expected that she'll do something fresh and unique during red carpet events. At last night's
premiere of Bride Wars, the actress did not disappoint.

The stars of The Hills were
all out in NYC last night to celebrate the fourth season finale of their dramatic show. OK, so maybe I shed a tear or two. Spencer did do the right thing and Heidi was teary most of the episode, so it's justifiable, right?
