The great Vivienne Westwood showed her Gold Label Spring '09 collection to London's fashion elite last night. Claudia Schiffer, Eva Herzigova, and Mick Jagger's daughters watched as the wildly clad models pranced the bright red catwalk. Vivienne is certainly not shy in her designs.

Many of us are influenced by the Olsens, be it Mary-Kate or Ashley. But clearly PETA isn't. In fact, members of the organization stood in front of Barnes & Noble in New York City's Union Square yesterday to protest the girls' book, Influence.

Elizabeth Hurley is not exactly famed for her good sense of style but this week she took it a step further. The actress, who is the spokesperson for Estee Lauder attended a Breast Cancer Awareness event on Thursday in Mumbai with her son Damian.
She wore a pink and gold sari for the occasion but clearly decided that Damian should be dressed in the same theme, which he looks unimpressed by!
If there was a universal ambassador for leggings it would definitely be Lindsay Lohan. Lindsay has been supporting the trend for a long time and has even launched her own line of them! She is currently in NY and ready to launch the next part of her clothing line, so could this torn pair be a sneak preview? The (I hope) deliberately laddered style is very grungey and reminds me of Meadham Kirchoff's Spring line. What do you think of the style; freaky or fabulous?
On Friday Karl Lagerfeld presented the Chanel Spring line at Paris Fashion Week. The collection was classic Chanel with monochrome and tweed accessorised with giant glitzy art deco jewellery.
There were rock star touches with guitars slung over the shoulder and a model wore these intriguing sunglasses.
These shades have extra detailing creating a side-burn effect.
If you want to turn your shoes into mini superheroes, buy them these Posso the Spat Over-the-Shoe Accessories ($198 to $303). They are updated versions of the over-the-shoe accessory popular in the late 1800s, but are made of high-end Italian leather with a bendable internal wire structure. Some of the more extreme styles are better left on the runways, but the simpler ones might be fabulous and turn a tired sandal or boot into a fashion-forward piece.

Guess who didn't leave the Gareth Pugh Spring show empty handed?! Ex-Moloko singer and fashion pioneer Roisin Murphy attended the Christian Dior show yesterday in Paris wearing a design straight off the Pugh catwalk. Murphy is no stranger to Pugh's designs, wearing one on the cover of her single 'Overpowered'.
I was just praising Rick Owens for his delectable leather jackets, and now I have to switch gears due to the accessories in his Spring '09 collection. I get that he's avant-garde and always serves up extreme trends, but since when did nun caps become vogue? They're better left for Fraulein Maria if you ask me.

On Friday during the Agatha Ruiz De La Prada at Milan Fashion Week, Sasha Baron Cohen (as his latest character Bruno) sneaked backstage and somehow managed to grace the catwalk.
The incident resulted in the subsequent arrest of Baron Cohen but what do you think of his catwalk debut; freaky or fabulous?
