"Bella’s description in the novel is very pale and extremely beautiful with large chocolate brown eyes, so she wore colored lenses every day," says Jeanne Van Phue, the movie's head makeup artist. "I also pictured her as a natural beauty, which is exactly what Kristen is. I used a light hand while applying all neutral colors to make her look as though she had no makeup on."

Anne Hathaway looked simply stunning at the London Film Festival last night wearing a midnight blue frock to the premiere of Rachel Getting Married. Her makeup looked typically glamorous with an emphasis on her bold brows and a perfect pout.

"My favourite beauty trends are those that we can emulate with little effort or practice. Earlier this year, as I sat wide-eyed in the rows of London Fashion Week watching the Autumn/Winter shows, I was thrilled to notice a natural dewy skin trend. Fake tans and heavy foundation was gone, and beautiful glowing skin (the kind we all wish we were blessed with) was in. If you haven't warmed to the idea of digital picture frames yet, but are hot for Apple, then this Photoshop Picture Frame might be what you want!

The artist silk screens the window image onto the frame, and then you slip your photograph into the frame. I love the idea, but I'm pretty sure I'd be worried about how much battery I have left every time I looked at it.

I'm unexpectedly addicted to Bravo's new show, The Rachel Zoe Project, (though I promise to never say "I die" or "Bananas"), and have to admit being a little bit charmed by the show's fashionista protagonist. One thing I've noticed with my geeky eye? She owns Macs and PCs!

Zoe's been seen using MacBooks, a MacBook Pro, and an iMac in her office and on vacation, but she also had a Sony Vaio with her at Fashion Week. It's clear she may like one kind of computer a little bit more, but it's nice to see her not taking sides in this increasingly tense world.

Coming Soon: MAC and Ungaro Collaborate. First there was Alexander McQueen and now there's Ungaro. MAC is getting fashionable yet again, but this time, the brand is working with Emanuel Ungaro on a 14-piece makeup collection inspired by the Fall 2008 runway look. The collection is a more earthy interpretation of the house's signature hot pink shades, using muted pink and nude tones to create a naturally flushed. (Blue eyeliner and adds a little bit of an edge; it is fashion, after all.) The items are set to be released later this Fall.

After last year's collaboration with Alexander McQueen, MAC is getting fashionable yet again. This time, the brand is working with Emanuel Ungaro, the fashion house headed by 24-year-old designer Esteban Cortazar, on a 14-piece makeup collection inspired by the Fall 2008 runway look.

For the show, lead makeup artist Sharon Dowsett created the look with a painter in mind. "Like Monet’s Water Lilies, it looks better the farther back you stand," she said. Available Oct. 9, the collection is a more earthy interpretation of the house's signature hot pink shades, using muted pink and nude tones to create a naturally flushed. (Blue eyeliner and adds a little bit of an edge; it is fashion, after all.)
